Bridal Trial Run

 

Although it is not required, we do recommend a trial run/practice session for the bride’s hair and makeup. We ask that you bring pictures of styles you like and headpieces you may use on the day of the wedding (i.e. veil, hair clips, barrettes, etc.). A trial run guarantees that your hair and makeup will look exactly the way you pictured it on your wedding day. We recommend that you schedule your trial run for the same day as your bridal portraits. The trial run/practice session is not included in the contract.

 

Helpful Hints:

 

Remember to bring your headpiece/tiara/veil, and pictures of bridal hair styles / make-up you like. Book your practice sessions 1 day to 2 weeks before your wedding, or consider using your rehearsal dinner as your trial run.

 

Please wear a buttoned-up shirt to protect your formal style for bride and bridal party.

 

It's best to have waxing, facials, and nail services done a few days before the wedding. Please let us know if you want lashes and/or airbrush when scheduling your services. Consider make-up applications for attendees to achieve a consistent look in group photos. Any of the bridal party receiving make-up services should arrive with a clean makeup-free face to avoid extra charges.

 

Make-up is available for purchase at the salon to have for touch-ups on the wedding day.

A relaxation massage is a great way to destress before seeing all of your family & friends!

A 25 dollar fee will be added for anyone who arrives with hair that is not clean or fully dry. Please inform us if you plan on bringing clip-in extensions for our stylists to put in. It's an additional fee of $30

 

On Location and/or “Closed Day” Fees

 

Local (Andrews/ Murphy Area): A $125 fee will be added for round-trip travel, set up, and take down. Non-Local: A $125 fee will be added per hour of travel time.

 

We also open our facilities on a closed day if requested in advance for an additional fee of $150. A minimum of 4 services is required to travel to location, or open the salon. If more than two stylists/employees are required to travel or come to the salon, an additional $50 per stylist/employee will be applied.

 

Before You Book Details:

 

Please make babysitting arrangements outside of the salon for infants and children. Salon El-Khouri is a relaxing environment; any children present must be monitored closely by an adult and taken out of the salon if noisy or disruptive.

You and your entire party must be punctual and arrive together for your appointment time. If any member of the bridal party is over 15 minutes late, we cannot guarantee that all services requested can be completed. It is your responsibility to make sure everyone in your party knows how to get to Salon El-Khouri; directions are posted on our website.

 

All members of the wedding party must have their hair clean and completely dry prior to having it styled. Hair can be air-dried or blown dry, hair products should not be used, and please do not flat iron or curl your hair. All prices include styling only. An additional fee will be applied to shampooing, drying, and/or cutting.

 

A table will be provided if you and your party would like to bring refreshments, food, champagne, etc. to enjoy while you are in the salon. Please let us know in advance if the table will be needed.

List each member of the bridal party who will receive our services and the services required. (Updo is also known as formal style. We classify updos as anything that is pinned, flat ironed, curled, teased or meticulously placed. Down formal or half updo styles are scheduled and charged as updos.)

A 20% gratuity will be added to your service total. Additional tipping is at your discretion.

We require a 50% deposit before scheduling/booking any wedding appointments.
